Make Or Break: former The Apprentice star David Stevenson is having another shot at fame [Channel 5]
Make or Break is a new Channel 5 reality show, which sees couples tested on whether they should really be together.
Couples are put through challenges while staying in Mexico, with contestants paired up with others instead of their partners.
The Apprentice star David Stevenson joined the series with his girlfriend of 9 months Beth.
Speaking exclusively to OK! Online, David insisted that despite reports, the show is nothing like its ITV rival Love Island.

It was revealed that Make or Break would be the next Love Island, after series 3 recently came to an end.
But David believes the Channel 5 show will be more dramatic than its rival, teasing the “brutal” scenes to come.
He told us: “It’s pitted as a rival to Love Island, but its probably got more action in these 10 days than the 7 weeks of Love Island. A lot happens.
“We’re all in relationships. We all go over to a place in Mexico and we push it to see at the end if we want to stay with our partner or if we want to ditch them. It’s pretty brutal.”
David added: “There is the option to ditch them for someone else, but by doing that they also ditch their partner.”

The couples on Make or Break have been together for a long time, ranging from nine months to four or five years.
David explained: “You’re gonna see people putting a lot on the line, everything is laid bare.
“The people at home will relate to every single couple on the show. No one is on it to be famous, everyone is on it genuinely for their relationships.”
On the Love Island comparisons, he added: “It’s definitely something I’m nervous about, you don’t want to hype it up and it’s different.

“I think when people watch us do tasks and challenges, there are similar things to Love Island. We couple up with others, go on dates and do tasks so there are similar elements.
“But there are a lot of things thrown in which are to test us, and I’m not talking about mean tweets and who’s s******g off who, we’re talking more brutal than that.”
