Cristiano Ronaldo left football fans shocked when it was revealed that he has requested to move back to Manchester United.
The 32 year old is said to have ‘pleaded’ with agent Jorge Mendes to seal the deal – which would see him return to Mancunian soil.
It has since been reported that Manchester United could offer up to a whopping £182 million for the return of the talented forward, alongside Spanish player David De Gea.

Unsurprisingly, many of Ronaldo’s fans are excited about the news, stating that they would welcome a Manchester United return.
Hopeful of the news materialising, one Twitter user wrote: “I’d love Ronaldo back at United.”
“It would be a lovely sight if Ronaldo could donning United jersey again,” added a second.

However, others weren’t so convinced, with one social media user writing: “Not buying this Ronaldo talk. He’s staying at Madrid.”
The rumours come after the sporting hunk hinted at leaving ‘dream club’ Real Madrid, following accusations of tax fraud.
Now facing a lawsuit, Ronaldo, who is one of the world’s most expensive footballers, is accused of de-frauding the Spanish tax system of almost 15 million euros.

Ronaldo’s move would see him bringing girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and his three children back to the United Kingdom.
Earlier this month the Portuguese sportsman welcomed twins into the world, joining his seven year old son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.
Born to a surrogate mother, Mateo and Eva are reported to have arrived on Thursday 8 June.
