Actress Danielle Harold is most known for her role in BBC1 soap EastEnders as Lola Pearce – a character she played for four years before leaving last year.

Since leaving the soap, Danielle had been relatively quiet, before revealing last month she is now working on feature film, Fanged Up.

Speaking exclusively to OK! Online on the set of the horror film, which also stars Dapper Laughs – real name Daniel O’Reilly – and Misfits star Lauren Socha, Danielle spoke about her exciting new role.

She also revealed she would “never say never” to returning to the popular soap to reprise her role.

Danielle, 24, said: “Yeah, always, I’d never say never [to a return]. I loved EastEnders, I loved working there, it was a brilliant place to work.

“But I’m really enjoying doing other stuff.

“I was there for five years playing Lola so to play a different character now is brilliant and I’m really enjoying it.”

Her new film, Fanged Up, is about group of people including Jimmy, played by Dapper Laughs, who have to attempt to break out of prison after discovering it’s run by blood-thirsty vampires – and Danielle looks TOTALLY different in her new role.

Danielle says: “The film is very crazy, it’s horror, comedy but also has some serious bits in it too which I really love.

“It’s a bit of each genre mixed up into one film. It’s a great cast, and we’re having so much fun filming it.”

She adds: “I play Katie, Dr Makepeace, who figures out what the vampires are doing and knows something’s not quite right and starts to investigate what’s happened.

“I love doing this film because I’m very different from Lola in it- it’s great to get bloodied up, look totally different and come away from that character!”
