EastEnders: Max Branning has become infuriated with Steven Beale’s attempts to get the upper hand [BBC]
The popular Branning, played by Jake Wood, is in on Steven Beale’s twisted plan to pretend he has brain cancer to keep Max’s daughter Lauren – played by Jacqueline Jossa – close.
Aaron Sidwell’s EastEnders character recently stepped up his plan as the pair lied to Lauren that he only has three months to live.
However, while Steven has recently tried to get the upper hand with his would-be father-in-law, his attempts have proved futile and now Max is issuing a warning.
In new spoiler photos, Max has a concerned looking Steven pinned up again the wall and has some words of wisdom for him.

From the way he is pointing, it’s clear that Fi Browning’s beau is not willing to be messed around and threatens to reveal the truth to a worried Lauren.

The actor behind Steven recently revealed that he has a rather personal connection to his storyline as he lost a good friend to brain cancer in the past weeks.
He told stand-in Lorraine host Christine Lampard: “Yeah it wasn’t easy. Such a young man with two beautiful young girls just a few years younger than mine. It was very tough personally but this is part of what we do and you can’t always just do the stories you want to do but this was given to me and I had to run with it.

“I always had Jacqueline and I was able to talk to Jaqs the entire time. We have a very close family life as well as a work one. I had her the whole time so that was good.”
The 28 year old is known to be leaving the BBC soap in the coming weeks and has teased details about his emotional exit.
Taking to social media with a statement, Aaron began: “To the fans of EastEnders. Thank you for your on going support these past 18 months. I wanted to take this chance to clear up any confusion over my exit. There has been incorrect reports about me for some time now.”
Insisting that he had always signed a six month contract contrary to reports, he added: “Regardless of what you’ve read or believe I didn’t sign a year long contract back in March. I signed for six months.”
