In the aftermath of the her confession over the weekend, Coleen opened up to her fellow panelists about the issues she and Ray are facing, but insisted that she won’t be giving up anytime soon.
“I think it’s worth fighting for, before I give up I’ll do everything I can,” she explained to Jane Moore, Christine Bleakley and Stacey Solomon.
“I always say, people give up too easy, we go to a doctor [if we’re sick] and I don’t think a relationship is any different.
“The easiest thing to do is go our separate ways but we want to really, really work at it and god forbid if it’s comes to a natural end, at least we can say we really tried and it’s doesn’t have to be horrible.”

While her co-stars praised her for her defiance, she shocked Stacey when she reveals the unexpected answer Ray gave when Coleen asked him if he still fancied her.
“I said to Ray recently, I don’t think you fancy me anymore and he said, ‘Well I think men are very visual’.”
Defending his response after Stacey refused to believe what he had said, Coleen added: “I think he was saying probably to look at ‘no, I don’t’ but before you all jump on him for that, we were having a very honest discussion and I told him things he didn’t like.
“Did I run to the chemist and get slimming pills no? As I said to him I want you to look like George Clooney but that ain’t gonna happen.
“It’s not just about fancying, it’s about the whole picture.”
Explaining that when it came to the important question of love, Coleen got the answer she was looking for.

“I know he prefers me slimmer but the best question I asked him was, ‘do you still love me?’ and he said instantly ‘yes’ and I asked if he wanted to split up and he said ‘no’.
“I know he loves me for who I am.”
During the frank chat, Coleen told host Christine why she chose to speak to the press about the struggles in her private life.
“I’m an agony aunt and I get lots of letters about the same thing I’m going through and so I had to speak out.
“And we’ve done topics over the past few weeks that have been relationship based and it was killing me sitting here and thinking I don’t know how to join in as if everything is fine.
“I feel the need because it’s something that happens in my life.
