The talkshow host has been drafted in to replace Piers Morgan while he takes his summer holidays.
Jeremy joined Kate Garraway, who is filling in for Susanna Reid, in the anchor seat, with Charlotte Hawkins staying in her usual role.
However, viewers who were not aware of the pre-advertised changes were in for quite a shock as they tuned into Good Morning Britain on Monday morning.
As Jeremy got stuck into his new role, presenting segments such as Brexit’s ‘divorce bill’, viewers at home still couldn’t believe what they were watching.

Jeremy is one of a few presenters to step in for Piers and Susanna while they take their annual summer break.
This comes after Piers threatened to quit the show for good after saying that he wouldn’t have to get up at the crack of dawn for a while. However, he then added the word “ever” which resulted in a few raised eyebrows.
