The theme for the hit ITV singing competition’s evening was Girlbands vs Boybands and as Nicole used to be in the six membered Pussycat Dolls girlband, Matt decided to ask the star a few questions.
Talking on the spin-off show, Matt said: “Let’s talk in Pussycat Dolls terms, Nicole.
“Who was Nicole tonight and who was one of the other ones?”
The singer was left appalled at the question and replied: “Oh, no, I don’t know, that’s weird.”

However, things got even MORE awkward for the singer when fellow judge and boss, Simon Cowell, asked: “What are their names?”
Nicole quickly listed Ashley, Kimberly, Melody, Jessica and Carmit to which she received a round of applause from the audience.
But Matt wasn’t finished with the 38-year-old and quipped: “Hang on, are we applauding you remembering the people who were in your band?”
