Ant, 41, recently left rehab following a two-month stint to battle his depression and addiction to prescription drugs, after revealing to his wife that he needed help.
The Britain’s Got Talent presenter was flooded with support from his colleagues and close friends – including life-long presenting partner Declan Donnelly – as he entered rehab, but has thanked wife Lisa especially, for coping “amazingly” with it all.
“I’ve put Lisa through hell with mood swings and depression and how it affects you,” he told The Sun.

Ant continued: “I’m very sorry about the effect it has on partners. This kind of stuff puts strains on any marriage.
“In hindsight, I should have mentioned it earlier but you’re embarrassed about it.”
He was then asked if his marriage will survive what he has been through in the past few months, with Ant describing his wife as “fantastic”.

He replied: “All I can say at the moment is that she’s been amazing — fantastic throughout. And we’re good. I was desperately worried about Lisa in rehab. But they start introducing phone calls after a few weeks.
“This is something that I’ve gone through, I’ve done it. I’ve stuck to it. I’m proud of doing it. There’s a very positive outcome which is great.”
Ant also made sure to thank long-time friend and colleague, Dec, for his support

Ant has been battling his condition for over two years, after an operation on his knee left feeling in constant pain.
He would then self-medicate with drugs, which is where his issues began.
Prior to entering the recovery centre in June, Ant apparently “wept” to both Dec and his wife Lisa, confirming he needed to check into a two-month rehabilitation centre to battle his demons once and for all.
