The Wham! singer sadly died on Christmas day from heart failure and some of his funds may be passed on to his Godchildren – the offspring of his celebrity friends.

His £100 million estate could be, in part, handed down to a number of children, including the children of his Wham! bandmate Shirlie Holliman and Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp.

According to the Daily Mirror, Geri Horner’s daughter Bluebell could also be set to receive a fraction of the fortune – she was the Goddaughter of George’s ex-boyfriend Kenny Goss.

The publication also claim that his cousin Andros’ two children are mentioned in the legendary singer’s will, as well as his sisters Melanie and Yioda and his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz.

George’s wealth included a number of properties, including his Oxfordshire home, and houses in LA, Sydney and London.

Throughout his successful career, George is understood to have been paid significant sums to perform at private parties, including one for Topshop tycoon Philip Green.

He was a long-term supporter of a number of charities, including Childline, the Terrence Higgins Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support – who could all potentially receive a share of the sum.

Close friend of the star Martin Kemp wrote on Twitter yesterday: “My whole family and I are devastated at the loss of our beautiful friend Yog! We will miss him so much! We are all heartbroken!”

The Faith hitmaker passed away aged 53 this weekend.

In a statement, the star’s publicist said: “It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period.

“The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage.”
