It had been a difficult evening for Louis, who performed on The X Factor just one day after his mum Johannah Deakin’s death was announced.
The One Direction star paid tribute to his mum – who lost her battle with leukaemia this week – with a performance on the hit ITV show, before taking to Twitter to thank his loyal fans for their support during the difficult time.
After leaving Wembley Stadium, where the X Factor finals are taking place, Louis made his way to Cirque Le Soir to celebrate his mum’s life.
He was accompanied by his bandmates, Liam Payne and Niall Horan and had his make-up artist sister Lottie, 18, by his side while his girlfriend Danielle Campbell was also in tow.

But as the family left the club, emotions seemed to be running high and Lottie was spotted covering her face as her big brother held her close.
With a protective arm around her shoulders, Louis kept a firm grip on his little sister, who wrapped her arm around devoted big brother Louis.
And it was clear the atmosphere was emotionally charged when Louis’s step-dad Dan Deakin was seen trying to escort his step children safely out of the club, attempting to keep some fans from getting close to Louis and his girlfriend Danielle.
It was the second time that night that Louis put on a brave face, after looking close to tears when he finished his X Factor performance.

A source apparently told MailOnline: “It was family and friends drinks in Cirque, all paid for by Johannah’s husband Dan.
“It was a celebration of her life and his X Factor performance. It was a very emotional night.”
Earlier on in the evening, Louis had been given support from his bandmates who apparently waited in the wings as Louis took to the stage.
“Harry [Styles], Niall and Liam all wanted to be there to support Louis tonight for what was undoubtedly one of the most difficult moments of his life,” a source told The Sun.

“It was an incredible and special thing for them to get back together as a four and be like brothers again.
“Niall flew in overnight from New York so he could be there and Liam came from Los Angeles. It was that important they were together.
“They were all in Louis’s dressing room together and it was obviously an incredibly emotional night.”
The reunion was the first time in a year that the band had all been back together, since going on a hiatus at the start of this year.

And Louis put on a brave face for the performance, honouring his late mum as he fought back the tears.
Celebrities and fans rushed to praise the pop star for his bravery, with many taking to Twitter to send a message to Louis.
Among them, James Arthur, Jake Quickenden at James McVey praised the singer.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell was also left emotional following the performance, telling Louis his mum “would be proud” of her son as the judges stood to applaud Louis.
