She looked radiant as she attended an event at Buckingham Palace for World Mental Health Day [PA]
The couple were attending one of two World Mental Health Day events.
The Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry attended the reception at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the contribution of those working in the UK mental health sector.
The statement read: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.

“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”
It continued: “As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children’s Centre in London today. The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.”

After it was announced the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her third child, it was assumed she was around the three-month mark.
But during a visit to Spitalfields Crypt Trust, Prince William dropped a hint that Kate may be further along in her pregnancy than originally thought. After the father of Prince George and Princess Charlotte was congratulated on his wife’s third pregnancy by a midwife, Prince William replied: “All the best with the midwifery, I may see you sooner than you think.”
