Covering the whole of the top of his arm, the design took eight hours to complete.
And sitting in the chair, Prince worked his way through the pain by making some of the sounds made famous by his late father.
Laughing with his sister, the star said “oww” and “he he” as the tattooing took place.
The aspiring music producer later took to Instagram to reveal the finished work to his 160,000 followers.

“I can never be separated from my father – he set that big of an example.
“And I don’t really have a problem with that. I’m proud to have his name and to be his son.”
The star also revealed that he wasn’t aware of his dad’s fame until much older, after seeing people “faint” in his presence.
