As the gameshow got underway, the Chaser and the contestant were given a slightly inappropriate question to answer.
“Who became the governor of Idaho in 2007?,” host Bradley Walsh began to ask.
But as the answers – Butch Otter, Study Muskrat and Gritty Beaver – appeared, the host couldn’t help but break out in laughter.
However, the laughter soon stopped when Anne shocked everyone with her next move.

Despite not reading out the rest of the answers, the quiz master already pressed her buzzer.
Normally, both the Chaser and contestant wait for Bradley to finish before they give their answers.
Shocked by what she had done, Bradley declared: “You’re not allowed to press until I’ve said the last thing!”
Defending herself over her actions, Anne responded: “You weren’t going to say it.”
Refusing to let Chaser off the hook, the host insisted: “It doesn’t matter, it’s against the rules.
“You’re not allowed to do that.”

While Bradley was annoyed by Anne’s actions, viewers were pretty impressed with how well she did.
“That was a phenomenal final chase performance by Miss Frosty Knickers! #thechase #gangofchase,” wrote one.
While another added: “That was impressive from Anne then. #TheChase.”
“@anne_hegerty You are the Queen of Quiz #gangofchase #TheChase,” declared a third.
