We’re fast approaching our return to filming The Only Way Is Essex in the upcoming weeks, and me and James Lock can’t wait. It’s time to bring our A-game, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the new season.
Me and James are currently just settling into our new home, which has it’s challenges – and he’s been no help! He couldn’t bend down properly after his hair transplant, so I was fuming that I had to do the majority of picking up the boxes myself – but I can’t stay mad at him for long. It’s so much closer to London where we are, and it’s so nice to get it all feeling like a proper home. We both absolutely love it.
It’s been a busy time recently, with the excitement of the National Television Awards and James’ new hair causing quite the stir – and we also have some really exciting news to announce!

Big relationship announcement
Me and James have got some exciting news to announce – we’ve actually got our very own dating app coming out!
It’s not going to be anything like Tinder, it’s for people who genuinely want to find love. No one-night stands or hook-ups, just people actually looking for a full and meaningful relationship. We honestly can’t wait, and I’ve been telling all my single friends about it – they’re as excited as we are.
It will be 100 per cent our app. I’m an old romantic at heart, so this really is the app for you to find proper love. I was saying to my girls the other day – it’s not always the easiest ride finding your soul-mate, but with things like this it can become a lot simpler. Watch this space!

A lot of people were commenting on James’ hair when he turned up to the NTAs, with many saying it looked a lot like Justin Bieber‘s.
But I can reveal he actually got the seal of approval from the Biebs – he even got a like from the man himself!
He quickly revealed after that it was because his hair transplant hadn’t healed yet, but you know what, I wish he didn’t explain himself. He didn’t need to. But he did have surgery, and I give it to him for even going to the event – I don’t think I would even have gone if I’d had the same procedure!

But he went, and he rocked it and I think he should have embraced it. He looked so great, and I quite liked the Bieber-sweep – it took ten years off him! I’d like him to give it another go.
Valentine’s Day plans
We’re spending Valentine’s Day together – of course! [James Lock/Instagram]
I’m not phased by Valentine’s Day. I think if you’re with someone, and you love someone, nobody needs a particular day to show it. We spend all of our time together anyway, so it’s just nice to ignore the pressure of planning something incredible, and just to enjoy each other’s company. I didn’t even know it was coming up!
James has got me a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes that I’ve already picked out, so at any rate I’m over the moon. But we’ll be doing an official date night a week later, as we’re actually filming for Your Face Or Mine on the day – not the most romantic of dates!
My past Valentine’s Days I’ve probably spent alone, crying into a box of chocolates or a big tub of ice cream – so everything has really changed now!
Gemma Collins on Celebs Go Dating
Celebs Go Dating: Gemma Collins is attempting to find love on the E4 show [ITV]
I absolutely love Gemma Collins, and although I haven’t really had chance to see her on the show, I hear she’s really making her mark – and I’d expect nothing less!
If I was single, I don’t think I could ever go on a programme like that. I don’t know how genuine all the people on there on it, and I believe in love a lot. I don’t know how many of the couples have stayed together, so for me it’s not something I’d look into.
I’m quite confused as I really thought Gemma was still with Arg, but I don’t know. Maybe they are taking a little break for a bit, but for now it’s amazing to see her on our screens doing what she does best.
That’s all from me this week, but stay tuned for my next column here on OK.co.uk.
See you then,
