The Ain’t My Fault hitmaker has shot into the limelight this year, thanks to some incredible collaborations and a number of her hits landing in the top ten charts.
And even though she’s been on the radar since 2008, when she won the Swedish version of Got Talent, Zara still finds herself stunned when she’s around other pop stars.
Speaking exclusively to OK! Online at the BBC Music Awards, the 19 year old told us there is one singing sensation she can’t bring herself to meet – Beyonce.
Telling us about her highlights of 2016, the bubbly blonde admitted the EMA’s was her number one favourite memory of the year.

We asked her how it felt to open for Beyonce and Zara revealed all.
She confessed: “I mean, I wasn’t really her opening act, I just did one song so it was like a pop-up surprise thing, but it was a surprise for her too, I guess.”
But when asked if she had time to meet the legendary singer, Zara said: “I didn’t want to, I can’t handle it.
“I wouldn’t be able to, I’m saying I wouldn’t be able to contain myself… I would not be able to speak. I would cry and I would just be crazy.”

However, the Lush Life singer revealed she might just be able to come face to face with Jay-Z’s wife if the opportunity presents itself in the future.
Zara continued: “Maybe, if we were at a big event, like at the Grammy’s next year and if she’s just right there, maybe but I don’t know, we’ll see.”
The stunner also revealed that she is certain about who she will be leaving behind when entering 2017.
Asked if she has had any low points this year, the talented singer songwriter explained: “I definitely have low points just like anybody else, life is life

“I feel like I will be bringing great friends into 2017 and I know who I’m NOT taking into 2017.”
Ahead of the festive season, Zara performed on the live shows of The X Factor, where many fans were left distracted by her outfit when she performed.
And as she neared Christmas, the beauty revealed her plans, admitting she is looking forward to having a long break at home.
She said: “I’m off till like January, and I have a long vacation.

“It is hard [to be away from family] but thank God for FaceTime,” she continued, “I miss them a lot so being on vacation with them, being at home… I can’t wait.
“Traditionally [at Christmas] it’s like the relatives come over, but i think this year is going to be my Mum, my Dad, my sister and my Grandma.”
