On the birth, Emma revealed: “We’re not going too much into it, as it wasn’t what we wanted. I ended up having to have a C-section and I had Chester on the Monday lunchtime.”
Gaz added: “I was fighting back tears as it was happening and I was thinking to myself, don’t cry! I was turning away as it was happening. It’s the weirdest thing. It’s mad.”
Emma previously told OK! Online about her birthing plan and that she feared it would be “horrific”.

“The more I think about it, the more I panic and worry it’s going to be horrific, so I think we’re just going to go with the flow. I would love a nice, quick and natural birth,” she revealed.
“I’d rather not have an epidural as the thought of it freaks me out, but one thing the midwife did say was that my hips are so small and narrow that it’s harder for birth but I’m not sure why.”
Gaz revealed that he still has moments that he panics during fatherhood and that his new role will “never sink in”.

“It’s just mad that there’s a little human. Honestly, it still feels weird. I don’t understand how you create this. I was hysterical. I’m responsible. I still ring my mam if I’m in a panic. I rely on that person even now, so it’s mad that I’m now that for him. It will never sink in, I don’t think.

Gaz, 29, announced he was leaving Geordie Shore in August before welcoming Chester in order to focus on his new life as a father.
“It’s not about you any more. I was excited to do something different. I thought, there’s got to be more to life than going out every weekend drinking, being hungover on Sundays and then going for some food with your mates in the week and planning a holiday. Life was so repetitive before Chester.”
