Survival of the Fittest kicked off on Sunday evening [ITV]
Survival Of The Fittest, hosted by Laura Whitmore, kicked off on Sunday night, with the likes of Dani Dyer, Lottie James and Georgia Toffolo‘s ex James Middleton joining the line-up, even though Danny Dyer‘s daughter had to leave after sustaining a painful injury while Tia Latham was evicted.
However, some annoyed viewers have picked up on something rather familiar about the new series, which is made by the same creators as Love Island.
On Survival of the Fittest, the contestants declare to their fellow participants: “I’ve got a message” when they’re sent important information on their watch.
Whereas on Love Island, the singletons would announce: “I’ve got a text,” when they were sent news or that they were going on a date to their mobiles.

However, show watchers are annoyed over the two shows’ similarities and complained that message doesn’t have the same ring as text.
One person said: ““Guys I’ve got a message” it’s not the same as “GOT A TEXT!” #SurvivalOfTheFittest.”
A different user put: “Guys I’ve got a message?! Don’t you mean a text?! #SurvivalOfTheFittest.”
Another show watcher commented: “Sorry but “I’ve got a message” is not really doing it for me I want to here “IVE GOT A TEXT” #SurvivalOfTheFittest.”
